Stepping out of my comfortable 11 x 14 format and going big, at least big for me. This 16" x 20" acrylic is from last summer's Chilcotin trip on the road to Nemiah. I call it "Road to Nemiah"

This one, "Paul Lake", is one of my current favorites. It's not a favorite in terms of composition but  because it was one of those paintings that went through a prolonged ugly period before something worthwhile started to emerge. I like that a loose feel was preserved even though it went through many revisions. It'll be part of the FCA 75th Anniversary Signature Celebration and Exhibition.
