Two landscapes are now showing at the Federation Gallery. "Gabriola #2" is a plein air sketch from Drumbeg Park on Gabriola Island. They say it is the most painted tree on the island. "Green Mtn. is the first in a series of three using the same reference.

This year is off to a good start with two watercolour landscapes accepted into the year's first Federation Gallery show "Works on Paper" exhibiting January 20  to February 1. This will be followed by the "Artists Choice" exhibit which runs February 3 to 15. I'm very pleased to say I also have two landscapes in that show.

Pleased to say "Crimson field" sold at the ART 10 Gallery today. This piece first showed at this summer's FCA show "Coastal Expressions".

The Arrowsmith FCA fall show wrapped up today. It was a terrific event at TOSH.... well organized. Also attended a critique session with Don Ferrel and Diane McCarten. They provided valuable insights into composition and integration of edges and lines.
